What is Proxy server and why
we need it?
Proxy
server is computer, which appear agent between your
computer and internet. Through its transfers your
requests Internet. Proxy process them, and results(downloaded
from internet)
send to
you.
For what
need?
For example
you:
- can't enter to your loved
chat, because admin banned you.
- are afraid to message
one of that forum, because can find you.
- feel
you quiet
in full anonymity.
Then you need
exactly PROXY-SERVER.

only of IP:Port.
When you are
connected to Internet
or local network and
your computer can't register
special static
IP-address,
its means that your IP-address
is
127.0.0.1 . It's reserved
address for checking capacity to
work with network programs.
Request to that address - is a request
to yourself. If you
connect to Internet by dial-up,
you get dynamic IP
address. It means you cannot
know beforehand what
will be your IP address during the next connection.
After connecting, it's possible
to view IP address which gets your computer.
